The Boorman Review extends evidence window by popular demand

15 May 2009

Due to the high level of interest we have received in Dr Steve Boorman’s review of health and well-being in the NHS workforce, we have decided to extend the deadline to respond to the Call for Evidence to the end of June.

This review is dedicated to improving the health of NHS staff and their health and well-being provision at work. To date we’ve seen wide recognition in the service and it is important to seize this opportunity to have your say.

The strong and insightful responses we have received so far will be incorporated into an Interim Report which we will publish this Summer.

However, to ensure we hear from as many key stakeholders as possible, and to allow those taking part in the Evidence Workshops (June 9 in London and June 17 in the North West) to fully contribute, we are pleased to confirm the deadline for responses has been extended to June 30.

All the contributions to the Call for Evidence will be considered – alongside the 1,000s of responses we’ve already received to our Staff Survey, which is still open for individual staff to complete – in a Final Report to be published before the end of this year.
